Product descriptions

Art and things attempts to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions but on occasion we do make errors that contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability.

We reserve the right to correct any errors inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you may have submitted your order). If this is the case you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to purchase not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.

Imagery

Every effort has been made to represent our products accurately. Please note some variations in colour or shape may occur due to your operating systems or screen settings but we do our best to show the exact product wherever possible.  We cannot accept responsibility for these variations in the appearance or colour. All sizes are approximate.

Pricing

Prices and availability of items are subject to change without notice.  The prices advertised on this site is the final sales price. All prices are in GBP. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment partner PayPal. No credit card details are stored on our database.

Returns & cancellation policy

Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you have 14 days from the receipt of ordered goods to cancel the order.  If you wish to do so, you must return the goods in their original condition at your own expense to Art and Things, The Paddock, Sweeming Lane, Little Fenton, West Yorkshire LS25 6HD. Please enclose details of your order with the goods, together with your reason for returning.  Please ensure that the goods are properly packaged in their original packaging: you have a statutory duty under the DSR to take reasonable care of the goods, and we may refuse a refund if you fail to do so.

Art and Things is not responsible for customer returns that are not received.  Please note proof of postage is not proof of delivery, and we recommend returning high-value items using a registered post service. A refund of the amount paid for the goods will be made to your original payment method following receipt of the returned goods. Please note that we will not refund the cost of returning goods unless those goods are faulty. We aim to process refunds within 5 working days of receipt.

Breakages

If your goods arrive in a damaged or faulty condition you must inform us of the damage within two days of delivery by email to sales@artandthings.co.uk. We will then advise what to do next.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

Non-Returnable 

Any bespoke or custom products cannot be returned for a refund. We are happy to replace any item that is damaged in transit but will cannot issue a refund for this type of product. Due to the interests of hygiene some items such as earrings cannot be returned unless they are damaged by delivery or faulty.  If you have any specific concerns/questions relating to these items, please contact us before you make your purchase.

Delivery service 

Delivery times are calculated in working days (Monday to Friday). If you order after Midday the next working day will be considered the first working day for delivery. In case of bank holidays and over the Christmas period, please allow extra time for us to process your order. 
 
At present Art and Things only sends goods within the UK mainland through our website. Please contact us at sales@artandthings.co.uk should you require something delivered a little further afield.

Privacy  

We use the information collected from you to process orders, enable us to communicate with you. We do not share your personal information to others.

All rights (including but not limited to copyright, trademarks and any other intellectual property right) relating to the information presented on this website (including but not confined to text, logos, illustrations and photographs) are the property of Art and Things. We are not affiliated with any of the brand holders you might see in our website and would consider any of those brands to be ‘fan art’. The material on this website may not be reproduced, published, distributed or otherwise made public without express prior written permission from Art and Things or the proper permission of the right-holder. 

Card Payments  

We use PayPal as our primary payment company. Our payment company uses secure server transactions. Our payment company also encrypts stored transaction information, ensuring that it’s not tampered with. Our payment company captures your credit card information and will always ensure that this information is processed within strict levels of security. We do not see any credit/debit card information at any time. Credit/debit card information is not kept on file by us or our credit card payment company.
